Tambour Door Height Advice -
All our tambour doors made include the height of the track in the measurement.
For example, if you order a door set with a total height of 1800mm and choose the standard track, we will reduce the door height by 8–10mm to accommodate the track:
Door height: 1790mm + Track height: 10mm (1-2mm for manufacturing allowance) = Total height: 1800mm

Surface Mounted Track -
• U-Shape Spirals: These are surface-mounted, bonded or Screwed in to place. See the guide here: Information About Surface Mounted U-Shape Spirals Track.
Recess Track Option:
• Flexible Track: This track allows for a modern curved finish and must be recessed into a channel measuring 13mm deep x 16mm wide. It is fitted in sections to create an up-and-over sliding motion. Ensure there is 21mm of clearance behind the shelves inside the unit/cabinet to allow the door to open.

• Standard Track with 1 x 90° Turns (4 corners): This track must be recessed into a channel measuring 11mm deep x 16mm wide. It is also fitted in sections to enable an across and around sliding motion. Similarly, a 25mm clearance is required to the side of the shelves inside the unit/cabinet for proper door operation, you may need to consider a pocket / False wall at the side if planning to added internal shelves, if this is a problem consider the vertical slide custom-made option here: See more details here: Vertical Slide Tambour Door Kit - Custom Made.
Recess Track Sizing Guide -
When ordering a door size and planning to recess the track, add 2 x 11mm to your measurements, as we require the total size including the track.
Tip: Use the following calculation to determine the size to order:
Internal/Net Width or Height + 11mm (Left Track or Top Track) + 11mm (Right Track or Bottom Track) = Door Size to Order
